I'm Suzy Penrod, and I’d like to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to all our students and families. It's an honor to serve as your principal, and I can't wait to see all the amazing things we'll accomplish together this year.

At Gatesville Junior High, students have the opportunity to discover their unique talents and gifts. One of the best ways to explore this is by getting involved! Whether you're interested in joining our Student Council, taking field trips with the Science Club, strategizing with the Chess Club, or showing off your creativity in the Writing Club or Theatre Club, there’s something for everyone. And let's not forget our impressive athletic teams and UIL Academic groups!

Junior High School is unlike any other time in your life. Study hard, challenge yourself, set high goals and enjoy yourself. We are very fortunate to have a fantastic school with great students and a wonderful staff.
