• PICTURE DAY: September 9 (forms were sent home last week)

• After School Meals start Tuesday --- pop by the cafeteria after dismissal to grab a snack

• GAME DAY: Volleyball at La Vega, Thursday

• GAME DAY: Football @ China Spring, Thursday

• GJH GAME DAY Dress Up: Thursday: 7th Grade wear Black; 8th Grade wear Gold
 
• College Day: Show support of different colleges, trade schools, etc. on Wednesdays 

• GHS Spirit Day Dress Up: Friday, Sept. 11 - "United We Swarm" (wear red, white, blue)

• Hornet Haul: Open daily in the Reading Hallway (FREE items)

• FCA: Wednesday mornings before school 

• Guitar Garage: If you have a guitar and are interested in lessons, contact Mr. Bryant (room 801) -- see graphic.

• Art Club: Wednesday after school

Next Tuesday, September 8, campus cafeterias will be open for parents & family members to eat lunch with their child or drop off lunch in the front office. 

Things to know...
     • Only relatives listed on the emergency card or in Ascender will be allowed to eat with a student
     • Door Dash, Grub Hub, or any other delivery service will not be allowed
     • Food should be brought for your child only (not distributed to other students)
     • Lunch periods cannot be extended due to a parent being late with food 
     • Students with a disciplinary placement will not be available (detention, ISS, DAEP)
     • Early Dismissal Days: no open lunch due to a condensed schedule
