Welcome back, 8th graders!
 
We are thrilled to start another exciting year of health education with you. This year, our lessons will cover essential topics to help you live a healthier and more balanced life.
 
Here is a glimpse of what is ahead:
 
Mental Health: We will dive into strategies for managing stress, building resilience, and maintaining a positive outlook. Your mental well-being is just as important as your physical health.
 
Nutrition and Fitness: Discover how to make nutritious food choices and stay active. We Will discuss how these habits can enhance your energy levels and overall health.
 
Personal Safety: We will address internet safety, how to avoid risky situations, and the importance of knowing where to seek help if needed.
 
Healthy Relationships: Learn about effective communication, empathy, and building strong, respectful relationships with others.
 
Substance Awareness: Understand the impact of various substances on your health and gain tools to make smart, informed decisions.
 
Sex Education: We will also cover essential information about human development, reproduction, and sexual health. This includes discussions on consent and healthy relationships.
